One of the resolutions Seth and I made at the
beginning of this year was to go through and be sealed in the temple. Well our dream is becoming a reality. We have made a commitment in our lives and know that this is the right move for ourselves both individually and as a family. We are so excited to have the blessings of the temple in our lives and know that we will benefit from all of the struggles associated with it. We talked to our bishop at the
beginning of the year to get things rolling on this goal. We've been taking a temple
preparation class in
Sunday school and we really enjoy it. Chris Angle has been a great teacher and has answered many of my questions and cleared up all of my misunderstandings of the plan of salvation. We're so excited to take this step in our lives. It's a great feeling seeing all of this come together. Just so everyone is clear our bishop said we will be
ready in about four weeks. Seth can be in the circle to bless his new niece Alexis and we are looking forward to getting our
patriarchal blessings. It's all happening so fast. Seth talked to the bishop last Sunday and when he explained everything to me I was overwhelmed with joy and excitement. I left church with a feeling of
relief knowing that with the blessings of the gospel and our families we were going to be just fine and happy.

Thanks guys! We are super excited! We'll happily accept any advice, pointers, and input you all have! It's just kind of hard to believe this is all happening so soon. We couldn't be more thrilled about all of this. We've already been visited by the stake president. He came over and talked to us like we were old friends. It was a little wierd but we are so excited and so is he.

Well everyone else has said it all, but please let me say, too, how very grateful I am that you are working toward these blessings.
It's not easy (as you are finding out) but it is sooooo worth it. And I can say that the blessings of the temple are what have kept Kent and I together this long!
As you can see...you have a LOT of help and support and we can and will do anything that you need done.
I get dibs on taking you temple clothing shopping!

I happened upon your blog Josylyn. How great it is that you got to go to the temple. That is awesome. I read on Amy's blog that you went. You have always been a remarkable person and I am so happy to hear that you and Seth are doing so well.
